Denver Urban Gardens

Denver Urban Gardens comes alongside residents, and together, we cultivate gardeners, grow food and nourish community. DUG offers neighborhoods the essential resources for community gardens, including ongoing technical expertise with; securing sustainable land for gardens; designing and building gardens; supporting garden organization, leadership, outreach and maintenance; utilizing gardens as extraordinary places for learning and healthy living; and linking gardens with related local food system projects and policy.

Foxridge Improvement Association

The Foxridge Improvement Association (FIA) is a civic association with nine board members who all enthusiastically support the garden.  Part of its mission is “to encourage Foxridge property owners to preserve their property’s value, desirability and attractiveness, and to promote friendly relations between neighbors and support the general welfare and safety of all residents.”  Two FIA Board members are actively involved in the FCG in leadership roles.  Voluntary membership dues of $50 per year can be paid by visiting our website and clicking on Membership.

The Club at Foxridge

The Club at Foxridge, formerly know as Foxridge Swim and Racquet Club, was established by individuals in the community in the 1980’s dedicated to providing a community gathering place with fantastic recreational opportunities.  In 2020, the Club authorized the use of unused space east of the pool for the community garden.  Club membership options are listed on their website.

The City of Centennial

The City of Centennial is a connected community where neighborhoods matter, education is embraced, businesses are valued, and innovation absolute.  The City of Centennial has embraced the importance of building a local food culture and has incorporated this mission into its long-term strategic plan, CentennialNEXT,  citing a desire to, “support the local food system and increase access to and availability of locally grown food.”  Two current City Council members are Foxridge residents and support  Foxridge Community Garden.
